Facility & Infrastructure Project

Community Facility, Food Access & Learning Infrastructure

Targeted repairs and equipment — not a full renovation — so the shared church space House of Manna’s programs operate from can safely handle food preparation, storage, and everyday programming.

$65,000 raised of $100,000 goal
$65K Already Committed

The House of Manna Board of Directors has already personally contributed $65,000 of their own finances to make this space accommodating. We’re raising the final $35,000 publicly.

House of Manna operates its food-access, youth-education, and community-service programs from a shared-use space inside Christ Cathedral Apostolic Church in Baltimore. House of Manna does not own this building. This project does not fund the church’s worship space or its own operations — it funds specific improvements needed for House of Manna’s own secular charitable programming inside the space it uses.

Rather than a full facility renovation, this project is scoped narrowly to what directly makes that space usable, safe, and functional for House of Manna’s work: repairing the roof, repairing the damaged drop ceiling above the main program room, adding the electrical outlets that room needs, preparing the backyard so it can support hot food preparation, and adding refrigeration for food storage.

The House of Manna Board of Directors has already personally contributed $65,000 of their own finances toward this $100,000 project. The remaining $35,000 — the amount this page is raising — is a planning estimate based on typical 2026 contractor and material costs for the items below, not a formal bid.

Donor and grant funding for this project is restricted to improvements that directly support House of Manna’s own secular charitable programming inside the shared space — not the church’s building or operations generally.
